„It's about loving all things about our home planet
and finding happiness in the simplicities of our existence
and the things we've been blessed with.“
sagen The Lytics
What is your intention for making music? Why did you start with the music once? What do you want to achieve?
Our intention is to make the best music we possibly can. If it at all possible, we want to make a living making music, if we can get there, we will have achieved our dreams.
Where do you get new ideas and how you refresh your creativity? How do you get new energy? Do you have an hobby which keeps you in balance?
Creativity comes from our surroundings, experiences and dreams. Much of what you hear is inspired by some real world stimuli, things you hear or feel that then become inspiration for our music.
Do you have any idols? What is your inspiration?
No idols. Though we are inspired by a plethora of individuals ranging from jazz legends (Coltrane) to hip hop legends (a tribe called quest) to folk heroes (James Taylor) the list goes on..
Why did you decide to look even more better in RECOLUTION clothes? Do your oufits have an artistic meaning?
recolution is comfortable. We like to perform in it because it looks cool and it's some of the most comfortable gear around.
If you could rule the world for one day, what would you change?
There are people starving to death out there while we in the "Western World" overuse.. We'd redistribute wealth! Move western powers out of third world countries, stabilize their governments and force invading world powers to pay a fair dollar for their natural resources. We've gotten rich enough off the backs of the poor -- time for the meek to inherit the earth. Obviously, a vision of a perfect world, huh? Ha
What is your personal piece that makes the world look a bit better? (e.g. "I rather go with the train than take the car" or "I turn off the tap water while I brush my teeth")
I was once told that the meaning of life is "love and happiness" and that if you live your life through those words, your interaction with the earth will reflect your values. It's about loving all things about our home planet and finding happiness in the simplicities of our existence and the things we've been blessed with. If you learn to look at our world as a blessing through the lens of living for love and happiness, you will likely live with a gentler hand and leave room for the impressions of those who will inevitably come after us.
